You can modify the limiting stress factors by clicking the Edit Factors button. This will activate the Limiting Stress Factors . Edit the values as required and click OK to accept the changes. The program will automatically return to the Project Parameters/Limiting Stress tab. Final 1, 2, and 3 refer to the conditions described in LRFD Code, Art. 5.9.4.2.1. Remember, the Use Factor To Calculate check box must be selected in order for the program to update the allowable/limiting stresses.

To specify different release allowable stresses for different sections (along the length of the beam), you can use the Advanced Setting Option by selecting the check box and clicking on the small button with three dots. This will bring up the screen where the user can select different allowable stresses for the ends versus the middle portion of the beam.
